Privacy Policy
1. Who is responsible
Word on the Wheel is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us through the contact page.
2. What we collect
Account data: your email address, name and optional company name. Usage data: the keywords, topics and website addresses you submit, the reports produced, your Saved Opportunities and your allowance history. Payment data: your Stripe customer reference, subscription status and purchase history. We never see or store your full card details. Technical data: basic logs needed to run and secure the service.
3. Why we use it
To provide the service and produce your reports, to apply your credits and subscription allowance correctly, to take payment, to respond to your messages, to keep the service secure, and to meet legal and accounting obligations. Our legal bases are performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interest in running a secure service, and legal obligation for records we must keep.
4. Who we share it with
We use a small number of processors: our cloud database, authentication and hosting provider, Stripe for payments, and third-party search-data providers. Website addresses you submit for analysis are used to fetch publicly available pages. We do not sell your personal data.
5. How long we keep it
Account, purchase and allowance records are kept while your account is open and for as long as we must keep financial records afterwards. Cached live search results expire automatically after seven days. Stored demonstration examples contain no customer data. You can ask us to delete your account and its associated data at any time.
6. Your rights
You can request access to your data, correction, deletion, a portable copy, or restriction of processing, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable period. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser storage that are necessary to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
8. Security and international transfers
Access to personal data is restricted, and database access rules limit each account to its own records. Some of our providers operate outside the European Economic Area, in which case transfers rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
9. Changes and contact
We will update this policy as the service develops and will note significant changes. For any privacy question, please use the contact page.
