Terms of Service

Draft for review. These terms have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and will be finalised before production launch.

1. Who we are

Word on the Wheel is a search insight service. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean the operator of Word on the Wheel, and "you" means the person or organisation using the service.

2. Accounts

You need an account to run personalised Wheel Spins and Website Analyses. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Accounts are for a single user. You must give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.

3. Credits, subscriptions and payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. Pay as you go and Booster credits are purchased as one off payments and do not expire. Subscription plans include an allowance of Wheel Spins and Website Analyses for each Stripe billing period. Subscription allowances reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over.

A Wheel Spin or Website Analyse is charged only after a successful result is produced. Your subscription allowance is used before your non expiring credits. The Intro offer may be purchased once per account, and the Subscriber Booster is available only while a subscription is active.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time through your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. One off credit purchases are generally non refundable once credits have been used. If something goes wrong, contact us and we will look at it fairly.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, infringe someone else's rights, resell raw outputs as your own data product, attempt to overload or reverse engineer the service, or automate access outside the interfaces we provide. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other customers at risk.

6. Intellectual property

We own the Word on the Wheel software, branding and interfaces. You may use the reports and insights produced for your own business, including with your clients. Some underlying search data is supplied by third party providers and remains subject to their rights.

7. Service availability and accuracy

We aim to keep the service available and useful, but we do not promise uninterrupted access, and we may change or withdraw features. Search insights are estimates derived from third party data and public web pages. They are guidance, not guaranteed outcomes, and you remain responsible for the decisions you make with them.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business opportunities.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. Where changes are significant we will give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law and contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through our contact page.
